The IX Workflow Sametime Plugin integrates seamlessly into the sametime connect architecture. Based on web services the IX workflow technology provides the users with an easy to handle workflow solution. There is no other software or installation needed. The communication will get more efficient then ever. A working issue is be started directly from a chat, the issues are filtered according the buddylist. It is convinient to start an open issue workflow or to monitor the fixing of bug reports within the chat level. The IX Workflow Sametime Plugin utilises the web sevice technology to integrate all relevant business processes into Sametime. The plugin connects automatically to the workflow system and displays all current issues und the present status. The workflow system can either be installed as a Domino database on the Sametime server or based on the JEE standards set up on an application server (f.e. the Websphere Application Server). Business process models will be created by the IX Workflow Modeler and customized to the actual requirements.
