LC Industries Chooses Microsoft And Sunrise Technologies To Improve Business Processes
Sunrise Technologies, Inc. a consulting services company and a reseller of powerful business solutions, announced that it has completed a software license sale to LC Industries, the nation's largest employer of people who are legally blind or visually impaired.
LC Industries, headquartered in Durham, N.C., is a non-profit organization that employs 735 people across nine states. Over half of its employees are legally blind and work in the company's three manufacturing plants, two distribution centers, and 26 retail centers. LC Industries manufactures a variety of products, including military supplies, mattress sets, and office supplies.
Sunrise is a Microsoft Certified Partner and reseller of Microsoft Business Solutions -- Axapta (MBS Axapta), a powerful and flexible enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
LC Industries selected MBS Axapta in order to achieve its goal of "One Company, One System". Rick Stallings, Chief Financial Officer of LC Industries, is confident that MBS Axapta is the one system to unify the company.
