Intelligroup Introduces Uptimizer Service for SAP ERP Central Component 5.0
Intelligroup, Inc., provider of strategic IT outsourcing services, introduced the updated version of the popular Uptimizer(SM) Service for automated sizing and analysis of SAP upgrade projects. The Uptimizer Service is available to all SAP R/3 customers who are upgrading from version 3.0C upwards, including Enterprise, mySAP ERP 2003, and mySAP ERP 2004.
This powerful version of the Uptimizer Service performs a pre-upgrade assessment across the development, Basis and functional areas of an SAP R/3 system. The assessment simulates an upgraded SAP environment in the existing system to identify and categorize custom-developed objects, and determines the number, type and source for potential upgrade errors. The Uptimizer Service also recommends ABAP best coding practices for custom-developed code, identifies active modules and business functionality impacted by the upgrade, classifies authorization objects and active/inactive security profiles, and provides links to convert profiles to roles. As a customer executes an upgrade, the Uptimizer Service workbench capabilities can remarkably accelerate the repair process on the impacted objects.
