Hungarian Coop Club Trust the Flexible Business Software abas Trade when Managing its Approximately
The Hungarian Coop Club trust the flexible business software abas Trade when managing its approximately 50,000 bonus cards. Similar to the well-established bonus systems PAYBACK or HappyDigits in Germany, further companies will join the bonus system in 2007. Accordingly, Coop Club anticipates to manage 250,000 cards by the end of the year. The Hungarian bonus card is at the same time a means of payment.
The company Coop Star AG Rt., located in Jászberény, initiated and organized a bonus system in 2002. The company opted for the trade solution by the German ABAS Software AG, implemented by the Hungarian partner InterJNet Kft., who is als located in Jászberény. Due to the positive experience with abas Trade when managing the approximately five thousand regular customers, Coop Club decided to use the tried and tested abas solution. A combination of 20 Coops founded the company Coop Club Kártyaközpont Kft.
For every purchase, points are credited to the customer. If a certain number of points has been reached, these points can be converted into a bonus check. Every day the banks transfer the purchasing data of the previous day to abas Trade in electronic form. In the first year, in 2005, about 2 million bank transaction were managed by abas Trade, approximately 10 million transactions are anticipated for 2007.
If the data have been transferred, the points can immediately be assigned to each card holder. If a certain number of points has been reached, the customer can print out a bonus check at Coop.
