ABAS USA hosts user conference in Virginia, USA

ABAS USA opened the doors to their headquarters in order to host their 3rd annual user conference. Presentations and interactive discussions highlighted the flexible features of the product.

Users from many different companies learned about product innovations and new means to improve access to their information. The 2009 Users Group meeting was titled growth for ABAS USA. After moving to larger facilities and expanding the staff, ABAS USA has shown improved Q1 sales. Attending this year’s user conference were ABAS Software AG COO and founder Peter Forscht, and Alan Salton, President ABAS USA.

"abas Business Software is just the right fit. We are a midsize business, so meeting the President and founder of the software at the user conference has given us a lot of confidence that we will have a long lasting partnership,” - Ray Pettengill of Computrol.

abas ERP on Apple

One of the new abas innovations demonstrated, was the presentation of the abas Business Software running on Apple. Running now on MAC OS X will allow abas ERP to run on every major platform. ABAS also has new partnerships with Habel Document Management and Alavara for sales tax services.

The right tool for the job

abas eB will improve the web presence with numerous functionalities and improved access to reports and data over the internet for employees in every department. Customers (B2B and B2C) can shop more comfortably on customized web shops and choose from different payment options, such as Paypal. Even mobile users can easily access the system on their portable devices. The most up-to-date data can be accessed worldwide at any time on multi-language interfaces.

Users showed off their Dashboards

Chad Papaleu from Simply Canvas, the leading Pro-Only Canvas lab that specializes in printing custom sized canvas prints, displayed their dashboards for managing production with abas ERP. Simply Canvas has had a similar growth path as other abas users; they started small with a brilliant idea, grew fast, needed tools to optimize their business and process their 300 orders daily. After replacing spreadsheets and implementing abas ERP, production volume increased dramatically without any additional resources.
