Ganz Motor Kft based in Budapest, Hungary is the newest abas ERP user in the global public transport market. Ganz Motor Kft, leader in manufacturing electric and diesel railcars, trams, and locomotives replaced their open source software with abas ERP.

Understanding Global Business

abas Software Partner InterJNet from Hungary supervises the project to fulfill Ganz Motors’ demand for small batch production with abas ERP. Ganz Motor will have a total of 20 abas ERP users, while the system runs on Linux. Barcodes and mobile data capture fully optimizes the efficiency of their 350 employees’ daily business. Understanding the values of a global market, Ganz will use the system in German, Hungarian and English.

About Ganz Motor Kft (Hungary)

Ganz Motor Kft, established in 1990 as a successor of the former Ganz Mávag, is a manufacturer of diesel and gas engines. In 2004 its partner company Ganz Vagon Kft, following reorganisation, merged into Ganz Motor Kft bringing with it the ability to manufacture complete rolling stock vehicles. It also owns the company Ganz Holding Rt. Ganz Motor produces electric and diesel railcars, trams and LRVs, metro cars, passenger coaches, diesel-electric and diesel-mechanical locomotives, trailer vehicles for electric multiple-units.
